KTMG Consulting was approached to assist our client in the development of requirements for a reporting project.
In discussion with the client, it was recognized that KTMG Consulting’s role could be much broader, and development and execution of a Business Intelligence Strategy was agreed and undertaken. Analysis of the client’s requirements defined the overall need; and a BI architecture was developed which would provide a blueprint for future development. A variety of tools were evaluated and only one chosen which would deliver the reporting applications. KTMG Consulting helped develop and put into production the first data mart. The process for developing future data marts was documented and handed over successfully to the internal development team. Further data marts have since been built.
